Good Morning friends,
I wrote this list for myself & thought that perhaps it may help some of you also.
I understand self-care looks different to everyone.
I know not everyone likes to ‘schedule’ things into their days but for me it works. I’ve always been a list writer, a meal planner & loosely scheduling my day helps – especially at the moment with my four children ‘crisis homeschooling’. This is something I actually find even more useful when I’m having bad mental health days.
Self-care has always been essential but even more so now as so many are struggling with all that’s going on in the World. People are feeling overwhelmed. Confused. Angry. Alone. Isolated from support. It’s vital to remind yourself that you are not alone.
For me, self-care is even more important now, so I can step up into the necessary role of supporting those around me that need it. I have to look after myself so I can in return look after others.
Keep well and stay safe, my friends.
